Rhino Walking Safaris is situated in the wilderness area of our 12,000 hectare private wilderness concession in the south eastern section of the Kruger National Park.

Guests must arrive at the gate on time to make it onto the concession by Gate Closing Time.

Please refer to the table below for the latest possible arrival times at the various gates.  Failure to adhere to these times can result in refused entry by SANParks, and having to spend the night outside the park.

Late / early transfer arrangements and permits can be arranged by the lodge – but are dependent on the
Kruger Park officials agreeing that the case is an emergency.

NOTE: Guests arriving for Rhino Post Safari Lodge and Plains Camp are advised to enter through the Kruger Gate.

If guests are travelling via another route which makes an alternative gate more practical, the reservations office must be informed prior to travelling so that alternative arrangements can be made for the other gate.  Last minute changes on the day of arrival can be accommodated if the guest/agent contacts the lodge directly prior to their arrival at the gate, to inform them to make the necessary changes.

If the necessary pre-planning is not done it can result in the guests having to pay the full conservation fee
at the gate of entry and no reimbursements will be made.
